1. Introduction

Welcome to BetterBills, a billing and business record system designed for small and medium businesses in India. BetterBills is owned and operated by Thinkvection Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "our", or "us").

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our platform, including all features, content, and services. By accessing or using BetterBills, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using our platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.

You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. User Accounts

Account Registration: To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Business Credentials: Each business receives unique login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

Account Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether or not you have authorized such activities.

4. Subscription & Payments

Free and Paid Plans: BetterBills offers both free and paid subscription plans. The features available depend on your chosen plan.

Payment Terms: Paid plans require upfront payment before activation. All payments are non-refundable except as expressly provided in our Refund Policy.

Subscription Renewals: If you have a recurring subscription, your payment method will be automatically charged at the start of each billing cycle.

Taxes: You are responsible for all applicable taxes, including but not limited to GST, as required by Indian law.

5. Use of Platform

Permitted Use: You agree to use BetterBills solely for lawful business purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

Prohibited Activities: You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's security features
• Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms.

6. Data Responsibility

User Data: You are solely responsible for all data, information, and content that you upload, store, or process through BetterBills.

Data Accuracy: BetterBills does not verify the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the business data entered by users. You acknowledge that you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all information.

Backup: While we implement reasonable security measures, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important data.

7. Service Availability

Best Effort Service: We strive to provide uninterrupted service, but we do not guarantee continuous, error-free, or secure operation of the platform.

Maintenance: We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily make the platform unavailable. We will endeavor to provide reasonable notice of such maintenance.

Force Majeure: We are not liable for any delays or failures in service caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

8. Limitation of Liability

No Indirect Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thinkvection Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Service Guarantee: The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

By You: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

10. Governing Law

Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Legal Compliance: You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your use of BetterBills.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of BetterBills after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future terms, do not use or access (or continue to access) the platform.
